Scinteco is a Vienna-based software company designing IT solutions, applications and products for the pharmaceutical industry. Michael's Role

Starting as a requirements engineer, Michael grew the role into process and innovation engineering — developing the processes and quality-management systems needed to work on submission-relevant research and development. Working closely with customers, understanding their pain points and regulatory challenges, he learned where reliability, not speed, is the real product.

Where kton Found Its Own Home

Scinteco is where the idea behind kton first met a concrete regulatory use case — but kton is not the essence of Scinteco. It was a guest, not a core. As long as Scinteco tried to be “the cool, well-made tool”, it competed on every corner and hid its real strength.

So kton was separated out — and both found their true place: kton as an open Foundation, Scinteco as the unmistakable regulatory partner. First disappear, then offer; and revisit the decision once the context has corrected it. The mutual release made both stronger.
